Some hours after the first photo, the 34-year-old released a second photo of the baby wrapped snugly and sleeping peacefully.

"My son Noah," he wrote in the caption. "We are blessed and overjoyed."

But the good news came as a shock for some of his female fans. Twitter users were just as clueless as everyone else when the black and white image of Noah's foot was released.

As early as 2015, Songz was vocal about becoming a father. While speaking to Charlemagne Tha God on The Breakfast Club, the singer said that he always wanted to have a child. Getting the timing right was the only thing holding him back.

“Man I want kids," Songz said. "I’ve been wanting children before you could even imagine. I raised all the kids in my family. My younger brother, he’s 20-years-old, he just had his first child. I remember when he was a child. I used to burp him, change his diapers, now he got a baby.”

Becoming a parent was a long time coming. Congrats to him!
