Donald Trump took to Twitter on Saturday morning to unleash a charged attack on yet another Black journalist; this time it was against MSNBC host Joy Reid.

According to Slate, the AM Joy host may have ruffled Trump’s feathers after appearing as a guest host on All in With Chris Hayes, where she said the president sounded like a “desperate man” in front of Republicans. Reid also poked fun at Trump for incorrectly referring to his fellow executive branch leader as “Mike Pounce” and complaining about his disdain for energy-efficient light bulbs that apparently make him look orange.

Trump responded on Twitter, by asking “Who the hell is Joy-Ann Reid?” and insisting that she doesn’t know anything about him. However, he then goes on to say that Reid had a “bad reputation, and now works for the Comcast/NBC losers,” thus disproving his point about seemingly not having a clue who she is.

Luckily, Twitter also stepped in to inform Trump that he doesn’t want any smoke from Reid.

Following her guest host slot for Chris Hayes, Reid, who is a staunch critic of Trump, shared several reasons on-air and online explaining why the POTUS should be impeached. To make matters worse for Trump and better for Reid, "#AMJoy" began trending on Saturday, ensuing celebration and a slew of trolling tweets from the MSNBC host's supporters.

In June 2019, Reid released the New York Times best-selling book, titled The Man Who Sold America: Trump and the Unraveling of the American Story
