An apple, cucumber and lemon were the only things left in my produce box for juice. I was desperate. Surprisingly, it was the most refreshing drink I had since…lemonade. It’s refreshing, (sort of) sweet and requires minimal work. Try this refreshing healthier lemonade and add cayenne pepper or basil for an extra kick.

What you’ll need:  

2 apples (Pink Ladies and Honey Crisps are my personal favorites.)
1 cucumber
1/2 lemon

Instructions: 

1. Cut ingredients for efficient juicing

2. Put all ingredients in juicer

3. Cool in the fridge

Note: Due to the potency of nutrients and sugar, you want to dilute your juice with water.
