TV personality, actor and activist Ts Madison will host the brand-new season of Asking For a Friend, set to return to Blavity this fall.

Reality television personality Shekinah Jo Anderson (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta) will be a co-host for the season opposite Madison. The new season debuts on Nov. 2, with new episodes dropping weekly.

On this season of Asking For a Friend, the show will dive into various topics surrounding dating, relationships, self-care and others, including candid conversations about sex and relationship structures, navigating adult friendships, the impact of social media on relationships and much more.

Guests joining Madison and Anderson this season include actor, singer and activist Miss Lawrence; sex doula and educator Goddess Amina; poet, author and playwright Richelle Gemini; wellness expert and author Jacquelyn Ogorchukwu Iyamah and more.

“I am SO excited that I was able to host Season 3 of Asking For a Friend,” Madison said. “We know I’m BLACK, and I thought I knew all the things there are to know about being Black, but I learned so much. My eyes were opened to so much love, self-love, group love — honey, ALL love. It’s so important for us to have these enlightening and healthy conversations, comfortably! So sit back, relax and enjoy, as we entertain each and every one of you. It’s about to be a good show, so go tell a friend to come watch Asking For a Friend! Don’t meet me there, BEAT me there!”

Ts Madison became the first Black trans woman to host a reality show with We TV’s The TS Madison Experience. Since then, she has hosted Fox Soul’s Turnt Out with Ts Madison and is now a judge on pop culture staple RuPaul’s Drag Race, as well as its spinoff, RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars. She appeared in the 2021 A24 feature Zola and made her major studio debut with Universal’s 2022 film Bros.

The episodes of Asking For a Friend will stream weekly on Blavity’s YouTube and Blavity.com. The first two seasons of the show are also available for viewing on Blavity’s YouTube.
