Nomadis Images, the prominent Tunisian production company is looking for original documentary projects by independent filmmakers from North African countries – Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Egypt dealing with contemporary issues specific to each country.

The projects are films that will be shot in each filmmaker's native country and to be around 30- to 40-minutes long.

Proposals should include a synopsis, treatment, statement of intent, and a biography & filmography of the director.

Initial proposals should be sent via email to [email protected] before March 15.

The projects that are selected will be produced by the company, whose credits include Sami Tlili’s Cursed be the Phosphate, that was awarded Best Film from the Arab World at the 2012 Abu Dhabi Film Festival, and Hinde Boujemaa’s It Was Better Tomorrow, that made its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival last summer.
