My favorite small screen guilty pleasures come in the form of Unsung, Fatal Attraction, and Born Again Virgin. And it’s all thanks to TV One. The network is a game changer for Black original programming, in both scripted shows and made-for-TV movies.
The network announced 11 new original films, including Love Under New Management: The Miki Howard Story starring Teyonah Parris, All This Love: The Debarge Family Story, and Ella & Marilyn (the real life story of Ella Fitzgerald and Marilyn Monroe’s friendship).
This is a trailer with clips from a few upcoming movies currently airing or set to premiere.
TV One also acquired rights for FOX’s breakout drama, Empire. In addition to seven series renewals, seven new shows are set to debut including For My Woman, a spin-off of the network’s true crime series, For My Man.
Check out a few trailers for the upcoming shows.
