News continues to circulate around Meghan Markle's sobering interview unveiling disturbing allegations of racism within the royal family.

Buckingham Palace released a statement on Tuesday addressing the accusations, saying the family was "saddened" by the revelations and that they would address the incident "privately."

But it was the Duke of Cambridge's response to a reporter on Thursday that got Twitter in a tizzy. The reporter asked if he had spoken with his brother Prince Harry since the release of the interview and if the royal family is in fact, racist. Prince William confirmed that he had not yet had a conversation with the Duke of Sussex, and to the latter, he said, "We're very much not a racist family."

People on Twitter were quick to call the Duke Of Cambridge out after hearing his response.

Other people saw this as a fitting opportunity to pull out this week's response from Whoopi Goldberg to her co-host Meghan McCain who went on a patriotic rant, as Blavity previously reported

And some people decided they were just going to address those on Twitter who knew what was really up in the royal family.

Although people have speculated that it was Prince William who made reference to the skin tone of Archie, Markle and Prince Harry's son, it has not been confirmed by anyone in the royal family. When Oprah Winfrey pressed the topic during the interview, the Duke of Sussex was firm in withholding the person's identity, as Blavity previously reported
