Social media users are shook after seeing pictures of penguins who appear to have afros. The photos posted to Twitter showed several penguins who boasted afros of various shapes and colors. While some of the penguins in the pictures showed off their black afros, others featured blonde hair. 

Black people in particular felt like they were looking at mirror images of themselves when they saw the images.

The photos appeared to reveal a secret that had been hidden from Black people for too long. 

Now, people are tempted to add some style to the penguins' afros.

Some social media user are imagining the personalities of the hairy animals.

According to Cool Antarctica, the animals seen in the photos are known as Adelie penguins. But Twitter is unofficially calling them "African Antarctican."

These penguins are definitely invited to the cookout.
