Sheryl Lee Ralph recently shared with her followers that we have her daughter to thank for her latest looks.

The actor shared that her latest looks on a press tour for Abbott Elementary were styled by her daughter, Ivy-Victoria Maurice. Maurice tweeted about the opportunity to work closely with her mom, showing off the vibrant fits she pulled together.

“Styled my mom @thesherylralph these past 3 days for press for @AbbottElemABC ! So proud of these look,” she wrote alongside sparkle and prayer hands emoji.

In the ultimate proud-mother moment, Ralph retweeted the post and shared with her followers that she created her own stylist.

“I birthed my own stylist!!” she tweeted.

Viewers flooded both Maurice and Ralph’s tweets, swooning over the adorable mother-daughter moment and praising the 27-year-old for nailing her mother’s fresh and fun styles.

“You DID that. Amazing work!” one user wrote.

“These looks are incredible,” another added. “You killed it, even though you had a stunning canvas to work with!”

“Nah bc she said i’m muvah for REAL! you betta stunt yo blood!” another user hilariously wrote in a reply to Ralph’s tweet.

The talented stylist has a brand, The House of Ivy, inspired by her grandmother Ivy Ralph. According to the brand’s website, Maurice’s grandmother is a fashion icon who styled “the once famous Kareeba shirt/jacket” in the late 1970s once it became a go-to for Prime Minister Michael Manley. The House of Ivy aims to build on the family’s legacy, creating apparel and homeware inspired by Ralph.

 

Maurice is also the creative director for the clothing brand WalkGood Wear and vice president of Walk Good LA, an organization that helps support the Black community through arts, health and wellness.
