A pretty good interview here with Tyler Perry and Peeples director Tina Gordon Chism, although it was mostly focused on Perry.

It’s about 35 minutes long, and he reveals a few things in the interview that I think you all would be interested in hearing about; for example, he’s working on an animated project that will center around his immensely popular Madea character, as well as third OWN series (initially, 2 were announced, and will debut this spring – The Haves And Have Nots, and Love Thy Neighbor), although he doesn’t share anything on what this 3rd series will be; and also he talks creating his 34th Street Films production house to support other talented filmmakers, like Tina Gordon Chism. 

In addition, shares his love for sci-fi movies, and reassures that he won’t be doing a Madea In Space movie; and he addresses his critics – specifically how he handles reviews of his films.
