In the early 2000's, Tyra Banks made the successful transition from supermodel to mogul, dominating as the star of her very own talk show, hosting and executive producing America's Next Top Model, and star of ABC's hit fantasy comedy television film, Life-Size. After taking a bit of time off, the 43-year-old model/actress/business woman is coming back for her throne.
Last month, Banks, who is already signed on to become the new host of NBC's America's Got Talent, announced her return as host and executive producer of America's Next Top Model on VH1. On Tuesday, the mogul hit us with another shocker when she announced her reprisal of her role as the iconic real-life doll, Eve in the sequel to the 2000 hit TV movie, Life-Size.
Freeform, sister network to the Disney Channel, has greenlit "Life-Size 2" to air in December 2018 as part of the network's popular "25 Days of Christmas" programming. While no further casting has been announced for the film that originally co-stared Lindsay Lohan, we do know that Banks will be playing a grown up version of the doll, awakened just in time to help a young woman learn to love and live again.
We see you Tyra. Glow on!
