Is it just me or do people —men specifically— just really love telling women what to do and hate everything that women already do? Like the kind of hate Falcons fans still harbor for the Patriots. Sadly, Tyrese has decided to go full-on misogynist (hold the logic) to express his feelings towards GROWN women who opt for a more promiscuous lifestyle during an interview with BET:

“Sluts, skeezers, hos and tramps are never without a man because they don’t have any standards,” said Gibson.

“You got women who are out here active in these streets going to lunch and dinners every night,” he said. “You’re going to put a lot of miles down there.”

Before I begin listing the topics of substance Tyrese can actually dedicate his god-given oxygen towards, I'd like to figure out the following:

       – Are women solely having sex with each other?

      – Is every woman who's single searching for a relationship?

      – As long as the sex women are having is safe, legal and consensual what's the problem?

     – If women are to wait for marriage and encouraged to hold-out, who would these strapping gentlemen be having intercourse with (from a hetero-normative stance)?

Hopefully by the time you're done reading this piece someone would have graced me with some sound answers.

It seems like our (Black) male celebs are adamant about (Black) women doing better. And surprise, surprise it's all boiled down to looks and sexual decisions in terms of appealing to … wait for it… men! Kendrick prefers us natural, stretch marks and all in order to recognize our true beauty because clearly, we're not already aware of it. Tyrese wants us to keep our legs closed to bag Mr. Right, despite being a part of a society known to pressure young women into having sex. As "well-intended" as their sentiments are, they're equally unnecessary, half-assed at best, harmful at worse.

With strong will and belief in Tyrese's ability to be the loving, caring man he portrayed through his chart-topping hits of yesteryears, I compiled a list of things he and males like himself can direct their genuine disdain and/or concern towards:

1. Domestic Violence

Tragic events like the recent school shooting in San Bernardino; leaving a school teacher and one of her students dead at the hands of her husband are another horrific reminder of how domestic disputes can fatally spiral out of control. Rather than being yet another male dictating what women should do with their bodies, perhaps Tyrese can speak to his (Black) brethren who happen to contribute to the increasing number of Black women falling victim to intimate partner violence.

2. His Male Peers

In an industry where it's hard to hold any celeb accountable because of "stans" and their inability to both enjoy and critique their faves (plus a dab of sexism), the least these Tyrese-types can do is check their fellow male entertainers in the industry. How about having a chit-chat with Chris Brown as a mentor and help mold him into the R&B artist of the ages his fans keep pretending he already is.

3.Syria

Well not an in-depth take, just point to it on the map.

4.Upcoming albums, films, and projects

Please just stick to the music and movies.

5. His Favorite Sauce at Chick-Fil-A

6.That Epic Battle Between He and Usher in the "My Way" Video

Seriously why haven't Tyrese and Usher teamed up for a duet album?

7. His Marriage and Beautiful New Wife

She's gorgeous and seems like a nice lady. He should mind his own nuptials and not the "sluts," "hoes" and "tramps" he'll probably blame for "tempting" men to cheat.

8. The Missing Black girls in D.C. (Nationally and Internationally)

If he's truly invested in women's bodies, he'd be more vocal about the human-trafficking issue in this country that young girls are forced into, and the unsettling number of disappearances that continue to remain under the radar.

9. The Harmful Effects of Slut-Shaming

"Act like a h*e, get treated like a h*e," sound familiar? Just replace "h*e" with "thug" and it's the same rhetoric racist individuals use to justify the mistreatment of the Black population. It also feeds into the idea that humans need to fit in some respectable box to be treated with the slightest bit of human decency. If not, you "deserve" whatever misfortune that comes your way.

10. His Daughter

How will he help her navigate in a world that'll be ever-so-critical of her every move being Black and female inhabited with men like him?

Perhaps there's a higher power that could simply place Tyrese on a sort of blacklist of celebs to no longer interview about anything. We already have enough loud-mouth misogynists with platforms to spout off counterproductive word-vomit through music and government positions, someone tell Jody we're good.
