Tyrese Gibson never misses an opportunity to treat his children to the most spectacular gifts. His daughter Shayla recently turned 16, and the actor ensured the celebration was memorable.
“Sorry, the list is CLOSED! Shayla’s sweet 16 is about to be legendary,” he captioned an Instagram post. He is seen standing next to a ferris wheel installed in his front yard.

The actor posted a series of videos of the party on social media. He turned part of his backyard into a nightclub, where Shayla’s Sierra Canyon friends gathered alongside family acquaintances. For the occasion, Shayla wore sunglasses and a letterman’s jacket.
“When you have a nightclub in your backyard shiiiit hit different!!!!!!” Gibson captioned another post. “Sierra Canyon whois squad is HEAVY in the yard……. #ShaylaSweet16 is not to be played with….”

Quincy Brown, Jessie and D’Lila Combs attended the party to celebrate Shayla’s milestone birthday. Gibson’s co-star Vin Diesel also stopped by, according to Essence.
Tyrese is known to go above and beyond when it comes to giving gifts to his daughter. Last May, he bought Shayla a Rolls-Royce for her middle school graduation. He also hired a truck to display memories of both father and daughter as he was away at the time.
“I feel horrible as a father that I missed this one of a kind moment but it’s very very clear that my daughter felt all that love that I arranged from London. Thank you Momma Norma for being there,” he had written. “Funny that you’re in my country and I’m in yours lol congratulations to our angel SHAYLA [Princess] Gibson you did it, baby you have made daddy sooooooo proud!!!!!”
