A New York Uber driver picked the wrong customer to be a Karen with. Instagram user Roger Alexander posted a video on his account @A_M_Visuals documenting a confrontation with an Uber driver. The driver, who was identified as Cherla Batista, called the police on Alexander and his female companion, @_Unidegar.

She complained to the police that the couple refused to leave her car and claimed that Alexander had stolen her iPhone charger. Alexander claimed that the driver had her charger and actually stole his as well.

While most Karen situations have “my word against yours” outcomes, this driver had a dash camera recording the entire ride. And Alexander was more than ready to have NYPD review the footage.

Alexander captioned the post, “PART 1! See next post for PART 2! SHE TRIED IT!! When being a #Karen BACKFIRES!💥Brought to you by broke Uber drivers trying to steal your stuff and use the cops to get away with it! #Karma. If you ever take a Uber in New York and get Cherla as your driver, CANCEL IT!….. WE WON BIH! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 w/ @_unidegar#PettyAndProud 🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌#KarensGoneWild”

In a voiceover, Alexander explained the situation.

“So this Karen took my charger, stuffed it under her seat, and when I told her I wasn’t leaving until she gave it back, she called the cops like it was supposed to scare the Black people away,” he said. “Now I could have just let this go. It’s just a $20 charger, but I saw she had a dash cam recording and it was the audacity and arrogance in this woman’s voice thinking the cops were her weapon and would just automatically take her side.”

As the ordeal continued, Batista was prepared to give her best performance to the police.

Alexander posted the conclusion, “Part 2 of when being a Karen backfires! See previous post for part 1! 🤣🤣🔌🔌 #PettyandProud”

In part 2, Alexander let viewers know that there was a reason behind him being petty.

“When she called the cops, that made me be like, I’m about to prove a point to this b***h,” he wrote. “So we finally got the dash cams to the cops, and we made her watch that s**t as proof. And you know how Karens do, they start to crying and s**t. Shut yo ass up!”

Referring to one of the cops in the video as “Jersey Shore,” Alexander clearly made his point as the police reviewed the footage.

“We saw the footage, if you don’t give them back their charger, I’m locking you up,” said one police officer.

Batista then handed Alexander back his charger as the pair finally left the car.

“It only took us two hours and six cops to prove that this b***h took my charger,” Alexander said.

After two hours of taking another Karen down, Alexander and @_Unidegar still found a way to make time for a petty photo shoot with the famous charger.
