Congratulations to Uzo Aduba! The Orange Is the New Black alum announced she’s expecting her first baby with her husband, Robert Sweeting.

According to Hello Beautiful, the 42-year-old shared the news on Sunday while attending the 2023 Tony Awards. She showed off her baby bump in an unbuttoned orange Christian Siriano suit and complimented the look with David Webb jewelry, Alexandre Birman shoes and a Judith Leiber clutch.

A representative for the parents-to-be told People they’re thrilled about their new addition.
“The happy couple is over the moon about their growing family and are excited to be parents,” they said.

Aduba addressed her new relationship status in September 2021.
“For some of us, it can feel like we spend our whole lives waiting for our special someone. My heart, my love — I’m so happy my life started last year with you. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me,” she wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post.

The actress also took to Instagram more recently to pay homage to the mothers who have impacted her life for Mother’s Day.
“Happy beautiful Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there. I honor all of you. I was so blessed to have a great mother who I am truly grateful to have had, here, for so many remarkable years. I wish we could have had even more, seen even more together in the physical, but I know we are sharing and making so many new memories together in the spiritual,” she wrote.
