An ex-castmate may be suing former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder over her New York Times bestselling book

According to The Daily Beast, Faith Stowers launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover legal fees for “justice against Stassi,” stating Schroeder made false claims about her in the April 2022 book Off With My Head: The Definitive Basic B***h Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom.

In the memoir, the former reality star talked about her “cancellation” following the Stowers incident and how she lost everything after the fallout. However, Stowers claimed Schroeder made “terrible non-factual claims” that have affected her and her family.

“Stassi Schroeder has written a NY Times bestseller book recently and has made more terrible, non-factual claims about me once again,” Stowers wrote on the GoFundMe website. “After all she has done, she continues to stand by her ignorant claims that are very harmful to me and my family. I’m seeking assistance with my legal team to get this book removed and all royalties/funds collected from this book be given to charity or assisting a family of choice.”

The years-long feud between Stowers and Schroeder began in 2020 during a Black Lives Matter demonstration when Schroeder and co-star Kristen Doute admitted they called the police on Stower and falsely accused her of a crime she didn’t commit, Decider reported.

According to reports, the two women and several other cast members publicly attacked Stowers after she slept with co-star Jax Taylor while he was in a relationship with his now-wife Brittany Cartwright.

“These two women used their privilege and celebrity to try and tear me down at very sad time in my life and the Country. During that time I was also racially targeted and wrongfully accused of horrendous crimes that I have since been vindicated from,” Stower wrote in her campaign.

Stowers has raised nearly $7,000 in donations from the initial $20,000 goal.
