According to The Daily Dot, a TikTok user named Ku captured the woman’s reaction to realizing Williams was standing behind her in a video posted on Saturday. Someone spoke to the woman then and continued to do so as the woman screamed, “Shut up! She’s a f**king American treasure!”
Williams, having her makeup touched up by an assistant in the clip, is tickled by the woman’s reaction to her presence. The woman kept referring to her as “an American treasure.”

The woman’s friends laughed as she shouted, “She’s an American treasure! What the f**k is wrong with you?”
Williams and her guest, former tennis player Prakash Amritraj, chuckled as the woman gushed over Williams.

Ku’s video only took a few days to garner millions of views.

After Ku’s video went viral, fans were eager for more footage of Williams at the festival. Obliging, Ku posted a follow-up clip that included a photo taken by a Miller Lite’s Bar 75 popup staff member offering some backstory.
In it, she explains she attended Austin City Limits as a brand ambassador for Honda and was at Bar 75 when she spotted Williams.
“There’s me, just trying to record Venus, because you don’t see Venus every day,” Ku says in voiceover as she reveals she captured footage of the woman instead.
