All four major Disney theme parks have a nighttime show, but nothing screams Disney more than watching fireworks and an animated show that includes the best animated moments from than watching in front of the iconic castle as Magic Kingdom Park. Their latest nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After, combines a fireworks extravaganza, lasers, and special effects that everyone can enjoy from Main Street, U.S.A.

Even for those who don’t enjoy nature or animals, Animal Kingdom will change your mind. Aside from enjoying all the rides, food, and nature trials in the park, there are special opportunities to see the animals up close and personal with God’s greatest creations. This time around, we were treated to learn more about the animals and the park’s conservation efforts. Along the way, we saw African elements and hippos up close, zebras, lions, and even flamingos on a special safari tour before being taken backstage to enjoy the elephants. After walking in the hot sun, lunch was held at Tiffins, which is marketed as a theme park exploration-inspired restaurant/lounge serving African, Indian & South American cuisine. Cheese boards, grilled octopus, steak and lobster, and libations were flowing.

For the foodies, EPCOT is the place to go. There are food carts and sit-down restaurants from park goers can enjoy from Mexico, France, Japan, Italy, China, Germany, Norway, Morocco, and beyond. Simultaneously, the International Flower & Garden Festival was in effect, with beautiful displays and gardening all throughout the park.

Believe it or not, we’re only six months out from Christmas, and Disney is already preparing for their November debut of the first-ever programming at Hollywood Studios. But like the theme park, it’ll be all about glitz and glam. Hollywood Studios’ Jollywood Lights is a nighttime party on select nights from November 11 to December 20, 2023. Marketed as Hollywood glamour meets holiday cheer, guests are encouraged to dress in their red carpet best and/or festive attire for dancing, lower wait times on attractions, sweet treats only served during the holiday season, a Christmas-themed nighttime spectacular, character interactions, and more. New merchandise will be available to purchase and wear that’ll debut for the season.

The water parks at Disney don’t get enough attention. And if you’re tired of Mickey and Minnie, ears, and pretzels and yearn for some water fun outside of the pool at your resort with no beach nearby, Typhoon Lagoon is the place to be. The food is delicious and light, with seafood tacos, fries, and burgers to keep you full without tiring you out so that you can enjoy the wave pool and every water slide available to ride. There’s sand that gives the feel of an island away front the resort, as well as a lazy river for those who want a tropical feel and relaxing vibes.
