Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of The Bodyguard, Warner Bros will re-release the film in theaters in what they're calling "a special one-night in-theater event" on Wednesday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. your local time.

Right! And I'm sure Whitney Houston's death was of absolutely no influence on this decision.

Presented by NCM Fathom Events and Warner Bros., The 20th Anniversary of The Bodyguard event will be broadcast to more than 400 select movie theaters across the country through NCM’s exclusive Digital Broadcast Network.

I should also note that this screening event happens 1 day after the 20th Anniversary Blu-ray disk will be released (March 27).
