Here’s a new red-band trailer for the stand-up comedy movie, Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain, that will be released by Lionsgate, this summer, July 3, via its partnership with CodeBlack Entertainment.
Before that however, Let Me Explain will make its world premiere as
the closing night film at the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) on June 22nd.
Financed and executive produced by Hart and his Hartbeat Productions, and produced by CodeBlack’s Jeff Clanagan, Let Me Explain includes a 2012 10-country concert tour, which saw Hart travel to 80 cities, generating over $32 million in ticket sales.
CodeBlack also released Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain, which grossed $7.7 million in USA box office alone. I’m sure they’re hoping for just as strong, or even stronger box office for Let me Explain, which they’re opening right in the middle of a congested summer blockbuster movie season, likely in a bid to draw audiences in search of alternative fare.
But it’s been a great 12 months for Hart, who just continues to be in demand, piling up new projects to his upcoming slate. He’ll be busy for a little while.
