nullWe all know (at least I hope we all know) about efforts in various states around the country to impose voter suppression laws, aimed at primarily ethnic, older and younger voters, who are more likely to vote for President Obama next week; or now, if there's early voting in your state.

So in attempts to reach potential voters who might be affected by these efforts, documentary filmmaker Stanley Nelson (Freedom Riders), along with the Advancement Project, a national civil and human rights advocacy organization, have created a series of short films released this week, designed to inform voters about the issue.

One of these films, called simply Bettye and Debra, reveals one such example of voter suppression in Wisconsin.
