The toll of transgender women killed in 2015 has climbed to a haunting eleven this week. In 2014, the number of transgender women killed in the U.S. was thirteen, and all were Black and Latina, except for one. The fact that we are only half way through 2015 and have almost matched this number is disturbing, and calls for action.
