First announced in February, Issa Rae, Deion Sanders, AJ Johnson, DeRay Davis, and Cheryl Jackson are all creating new content for the newly-formed Alright TV – a faith/family-friendly YouTube channel created by Robert Johnson and Tracey E. Edmonds (who’s running it), in an agreement with YouTube.
News of this new channel was first announced in last summer, and it debuted on YouTube in March 31.

We featured a few episodes of one of its series – Walk This Way, starring Michael K. Williams, which is an offbeat web-comedy about a pastor of a mega church who counsels his parishioners with their unusual problems.
Here’s a trailer for an upcoming new series on the new web channel, from Ms Awkward Black Girl herself, the super-busy Issa Rae, titled The Choir.
Synopsis:
A closer look at the series that follows the United Church of Holy Christ in Fellowship’s choir as they attempt to rebuild their dying congregation. Join the church choir as they band together to try to find new, innovative — sometimes inappropriate — ways to make the church thrive as it once did!
The Choir debuts on AlrightTV on August 29th, 2013.
