After reading some sombering news on the plight of black men earlier, it was nice to stumble upon this lengthy clip of actor/activist Nate Parker (The Secret Life Of Bees, The Great Debaters, Blood Done Sign My Name) giving an insightful lecture with his friend, and adjunct professor at Medgar Evers College, Brian Favors. 

The duo passionately educate a group of black college students on a number of topics including the effects of slavery, racism and the importance of transforming your community. 

By the way, this video isn't professionally produced so you'll see shaky camera movements, and you definitely need to increase the volume, but it's worth viewing.
