Fans and friends of Virgil Abloh showed an outpouring of support this week after the tragic death of the Louis Vuitton designer. Many of Abloh's closest friends and colleagues gathered in Miami a few days after his death, honoring him at his final fashion show. The event, which went on as Abloh requested, included celebrities such as ‘Ye, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell and Lil Baby, CTV reports

Louis Vuitton also released a video tribute to honor the late designer during the event.

While the world celebrated the life of Abloh, Roddy Ricch announced that he will honor the late Nipsey Hussle in the album art for his upcoming project, Live Life Fast.

Several other celebrities received their flowers this week for the contributions they continue to make to their communities. Simone Biles was honored when she was named one of People magazine's 2021 People of the Year. The seven-time Olympic medalist graced the cover of the magazine and opened up about her controversial decision to skip several events in Tokyo last summer as she was struggling with mental health.

"That's probably one of the first times in my career where I felt courageous and I felt like I had got to speak up for myself," she told People. "I definitely can walk away from Tokyo, feeling courage, feeling at ease. And I did everything I could."

Rihanna was also shining bright on Monday when Barbadian Prime Minister Mia Mottley honored the native of Barbados as a national hero.

"On behalf of a grateful nation, but an even prouder people, we therefore present to you the designee for national hero of Barbados, Ambassador Robyn Rihanna Fenty," Mottley said, as Blavity previously reported. "May you continue to shine like a diamond and bring honor to your nation by your works, by your actions and to do credit where you shall go. God bless you, my dear."

Rihanna found herself in the news again when she denied pregnancy rumors after a fan went to her DMs to ask for an invitation to the singer's baby shower. 

“haaaaa! Stawwwp! You ain’t came to the first 10 baby showers! Y’all breed me every year dammit lol,” Rihanna said, as Blavity previously reported.

Singer Faith Evans was unmasked as the Skunk on Thursday's episode of The Masked Singer.
