Travis Scott has been hit with more than 60 lawsuits following the tragedy that took place at his music festival last Friday. The event left nine people dead and hundreds injured in a major trampling incident.

One of the victims in critical condition is a 9-year-old boy who is currently in the hospital in a medically induced coma. His family has retained the legal assistance of Benjamin Crump to sue the rapper and LiveNation.

Travis Scott was partying with Drake at Dave & Busters after the show, unaware of the magnitude of the debacle.

Travis Scott was reportedly not aware of the fatalities at Astroworld until after he arrived at Drake’s after-party in Houston.

“When someone told Travis […] he immediately left the party.”

After the fallout, the rapper partnered with an organization he said was a free service for those wanting to talk to someone about the traumatic events from that night. However, those on the internet said the partnership was an opportunity for the organization to potentially sell the information of customers to third parties and target them with ads to spend money.

“Hi, I’m Travis Scott and I’m largely responsible for the death of 8 people and trauma of the thousands. That’s why this month I’m partnering with BetterHelp so they can sell your information to a 3rd parties to target you with ads hoping you spend money when you’re depressed.” https://t.co/VDSHOkgytt

“Even in the face of tragedy, Scott’s response is another corporate collaboration. It reveals a fundamental flaw in the rapper’s multimillion-dollar brand. No one comes to Travis Scott for a deeply cultivated community… They come for hype.” https://t.co/AwXn8NW1wc

The CFDA Awards gained much attention this week for two reasons: Kid Cudi’s wedding dress and Zendaya slaying as she accepted her Fashion Icon award. The Euphoria actress is the youngest star to receive the honor.

LeBron James wasn’t here for Kyle Rittenhouse’s perceived fake tears while on the witness stand as he goes on trial for the killing of protesters during the demonstrations in response to the killing of Jacob Blake.

Will Smith opened up again about his insecure feelings toward his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s previous relationship with Tupac Shakur in his new memoir.

JAY-Z won his lawsuit against the cologne company Parlux, and in casual Hov fashion, the rapper walked out of the courthouse telling cameras he’s “smokin’ on that Parlux pack tonight.”

Jennifer Hudson became a trending topic for her performance at the CMA Awards, where she offered a moving tribute in honor of Aretha Franklin’s legacy and musical influence, alongside Chris Stapleton.

Jaden Smith sat down with his mother and grandmother on a new episode of Red Table Talk and had a conversation many kids wouldn’t dare have with their family: he spoke about his experimentation with psychedelic drugs.

The first photos of Viola Davis dressed as former First Lady Michelle Obama for Showtime’s upcoming series has fans already excited.

Joining the list of surprising moves from Kanye West, the rapper put his alleged beef with Drake to the side to ask the “Way 2 Sexy” artist to join him on stage and end their feud in an event to free Larry Hoover.

Damson Idris and Saweetie had several people “sliding down the wall” in response to a video of the two hanging out. The rapper was recorded playing the piano for the “Snowfall” star and proved to a lot of trolls that she can do more than just rap.

Stay tuned to see what next week has in store for us.
