Tower HeistOOPS! It wasn't supposed to happen like this.It wasn't supposed to happen like this. All the insiders and experts were predicting that Tower Heist was, without question, going to be No. 1 this weekend making somewhere between $35-40 million. But it didn't work out that way. The film got its clock cleaned by Puss in Boots which held up very nicely, stayng at No.1 and beating Tower Heist by almost $10 million.

So what went wrong with Tower Heist which came in second and most likely won't even gross $100 million which everyone thought was a sure thing? However, the film also opened this week in 21 foreign territories so Universal really has nothing to worry about since the film should do huge business oveseas.

Yet I have to ask if the film had stuck to its original concept of being a  "black Ocean's Eleven" with a cast made up of black comedians, would the film had done any better?
