nullLionsgate TV has extended its relationship with Wendy Williams to 2022, although her daytime talk-show, syndicated by Lionsgate-owned Debmar-Mercury, has not been renewed yet, although given that it continues to be a ratings smash, any doubts of the show’s potential longevity should be zero.

The show is already set to run through the 2016-17 television season, however, and, with today’s news, could continue for another seven years.

Earlier this year, Investigation Discovery greenlit a new series titled "Death by Gossip with Wendy Williams," with the so-called Diva of Dish serving as host and executive producer.

Williams, via her production, is busy. She produced last year’s "Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B" and previously teamed up with Suzanne de Passe (via her production company) to bring Star Jones’ novel, "Satan’s Sisters," to VH1 as a movie.

Her Lionsgate contract extension could see her continue to make moves beyond her talk-show.
