NBA star Kawhi Leonard wants to cash in on his viral catchphrase.

The Los Angeles Clippers forward filed a trademark application for “what it do baby” on October 23, according to trademark lawyer Josh Gerben.

Leonard also wants to trademark “city views over interviews.” According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, he intends to use the phrases for an upcoming clothing line which will feature several items including t-shirts, tank tops and baseball caps.

“What it do baby” went viral after Leonard said it following an NBA finals victory.

Leonard is also known for his unique laugh and his Fat Albert-ish greeting “hey, hey, hey." His mannerisms have inspired numerous impressions and countless memes.

The Oklahoma City Thunder’s Darius Bazely did an impression of Leonard last week, according to CBS Sports.

Thankfully, Leonard is a great sport about the attention.

“I just take it as love. You know what I mean? People love me I guess and like the things I say,” Leonard said on Tuesday.

It’s unclear where “city views over interviews” came from, but NBA.com claims it might be from a New Balance commercial Leonard appeared in.

Leonard has not said anything about the application or his plans.
