A white woman in Florida was caught on video calling a Black boy “n****r” after she saw the boy drop a gum wrapper onto the sidewalk and didn’t, to her, pick it back up fast enough, Florida Politics reported.

In a video posted to Facebook, the teenage boy is seen walking away from the woman as she tells him to pick up the wrapper.

“Nuh-uh, don’t even act like that. Pick it up. Find it. Get down on your knees and find it. Get down on your knees and find it,” she said.

She later called him a “little n****r” and said “all y’all [unintelligible] “f***ing n****rs.”

When she saw the camera, she didn’t appear to be fazed.

“Film me, f***er,” she said when the camera zoomed in on her acting erratically.

The scene is triggering flashbacks for viewers of the immortalized memes of Barbecue Becky and Permit Patty. The woman has now been given the title of “Pick It Up Peggy.”

“Almost 2020 and we still are dealing with being spoken to in this manner over what exactly? A gum wrapper. Tasteless,” the author of the post wrote.

St. Pete City Council member Steve Kornell shared the video and asked the public to help identify the boy.

“If anyone knows this young man I would love to honor him at this week’s City Council meeting for his extreme politeness towards this woman who did not deserve it at all. It says a great deal about him and about her,” Kornell wrote.

The boy in the video walked up to the bushes where the woman was pointing, but when she yelled at him he turned away and smiled, appearing amused at her rant.
