Secretary Of Education Betsy DeVos' embarrassing interview on "60 minutes" has the ladies of "The View"  stunned, saddened and confused about what DeVos has been up to since her time in that role.

During the discussion, DeVos', who showed her incompetence for the position, admitted to having not visited poor performing schools.

"I have not.. I have not.. I have not intentionally visited schools that are underperforming."

Whoopi Goldberg was not having it.  “So, call me crazy, but what’s she been doing this whole time,” Goldberg said.

Co-Host Sunny Hostin added that she was deeply saddened by the interview because education played an important role in her life.

“What is so upsetting to me is that education was the great equalizer,” Hostin said.

“I’ve often said, I was the kid from the South Bronx, but I was smart and I was in the books. And my parents did everything they could to make sure I went to good schools. And it’s the only reason I’m sitting here today and not a statistic.”

What's even more tragic about the DeVos interview is how obviously unprepared she was. She had no statistics or facts and no informed responses.

“The idea that she did not research a lot of this stuff sitting down with Leslie Stahl?! I’d at least have cheat sheet,” Co-Host Sara Haines said.

The interview has us all scratching our heads and wondering if DeVos even cares.
