nullWill Smith
and his production company, Overbrook Entertainment, have struck a deal with Sony Pictures
to produce the high school comedy “Ultra”.

According to
sources, the actual premise of the film project is being “kept under wraps”
except to say that it will be a “R-rated event movie starring teenagers”.

The film
will be produced by Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and James Lassiter for Overbrook, with Sandy Stern of Single Cell Pictures.

The film
will be written by Hollywood wunderkind twin brothers Shea Mirzai and his brother
Evan, who, for the last three years in a row, have had a script on the prestigious
“Black List” of the best unproduced screenplays.

They did it first
in 2012 with their romantic comedy "Doppelgangers,” then again in 2013 with their
action comedy “Diablo Run,” and then once again, for a third time, last year, with
the comedy screenplay “Beauty Pageant”.
