Disney has its eyes on Will Smith for their latest reboot.

According to reports, Will Smith is in early talks to portray the Genie in Guy Ritchie's live-action reboot of the classic film, Aladdin. 

Robin Williams voiced the role in the 1992 film. This would be Smith's first voice role since Shark Tale.  Most recently, there were talks of him starring in the live-action reboot of Dumbo, but talks fell through. 

Reportedly, they are looking to cast newcomers in the roles of Aladdin and Jasmine
