Will Smith is getting emotionally heavy in his upcoming unscripted series, Will Smith: Best Shape of My Life.

The six-part docuseries, which will air on YouTube as a YouTube Original, has released a new trailer featuring Smith‘s journey to go from the “worst shape” of his life to “a movie star body.” The trailer also shows how the physical journey leads Smith to question the state of his mental health, too, particularly regarding some of his past actions he’s taken to become the superstar he is today.

Smith said about his health challenge, “I thought I was getting into the best shape of my life. But mentally, I was somewhere else. And I ended up discovering a whole lot of hidden things about myself.”

Some of his mental health issues come up as Smith also chronicled his process of writing his memoir, also shown in the docuseries.

One clip features Smith telling his family about a time he “considered suicide.” He also later called his stage persona as “largely a construction, a carefully crafted and honed character designed to hide myself from the world.”

According to the docuseries' official description:

“This is the fun, funny, inspirational, wildly adventurous, and deeply entertaining story of Smith challenging himself to improve every aspect of his fitness, from agility to power to recovery and more, teaming up with guests including pro athletes, scientists and experts, and top YouTube creators.”

Will Smith: The Best Shape of My Life will debut Nov. 8 with two episodes on YouTube Originals. The remaining episodes will debut daily on Smith’s YouTube channel.
