Timothée Chalamet is starring as “the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker,” Willy Wonka, in Warner Bros’ upcoming film alongside Keegan-Michael Key, Natasha Rothwell and more.
The studio just dropped the official trailer for Wonka, which shows Chalamet starring as Roald Dahl’s titular character during his earlier years as an aspiring chocolatier chock-full of delectable ideas.
The film’s star-studded cast also includes Calah Lane, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman, Rich Fulcher, Rakhee Thakrar, Tom Davis and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.
1. 'Wonka' is directed by Paul King, with David Heyman, best known for producing the 'Harry Potter' franchise, serving as the project's producer.
Michael Siegel, Cate Adams, Rosie Alison and Tim Wellspring are executive producers. Alongside Heyman, the film is produced by Alexandra Derbyshire and Luke Kelly.
