In the wake of all the racism, Islamophobia and prejudice plaguing our country, it seems appropriate to reflect upon some of the bigotry that has historically impacted the formation of our country. At least, that’s what the folks of Buzzfeed Video did in one of their recent videos. The thing is, these interviewees were surprised to find that many of these discriminatory statements are as relevant now as when they were said originally.
We must wonder, have we progressed as a society at all?
