As we recently saw on Afrotech, Kanye West revealed he is looking to open physical Yeezy stores in Atlanta, Georgia. It seems like word got back to Young Thug quickly, who immediately took to his story on Instagram and offered Ye 100 acres of his land for free.

“ @KanyeWest, I got over 100 acres. However many you need they’re yours free of charge.  On GOD,” The YSL rapper announced on his Instagram Stories.

West previously declared his ideas of developing physical stores for his Yeezy brand and chose Atlanta as the starting point. “We are going to open Yeezy stores worldwide, starting in Atlanta,” he shared on Instagram.

Who would be best to open it? I’ll buy the land and/or building. Then we [are] going up in every state and then internationally.”

In 2021, Thug, who is currently incarcerated, was given the acres of land by his realtor Trey Williams, and manager Geoff Ogunlesi, as a birthday gift.  The Atlanta native revealed his plans to construct the “Slime City” subdivision.  The title refers to a trilogy of his previously released albums between 2015 and 2016.

As reported on Afrotech, west declared his decision to expand came from the lack of support from both Adidas and Gap, whom he claims have not kept their word with regards to launching physical stores.

“I signed with both adidas and Gap because it contractually stated they would build permanent stores which neither company has done even though I saved both of those companies at the same time,” he added. “Ima show you how to use social media.”

This was indeed a lofty gesture from Thug, but it still remains unclear if West will accept this offer and proceed with the construction of the Yeezy stores.
