Congrats are in order for Yule Caise who has been selected as this year’s Fox Writers Intensive Fellow.

Part of the Fox Audience Strategy initiative, which, the Writers Intensive Fellowship is the company’s advanced writer’s program designed to nurture experienced writers of diverse backgrounds. The program also is meant to create a strong pipeline of well-rounded talent for potential staffing on Fox television, feature film and digital entertainment productions, as well as for potential pitches to HarperCollins.

With his selection, Caise has been awarded a development deal with FX Networks, in conjunction with Fox Broadcasting Co and 20th Century Fox Television. He will also be given the opportunity to pitch a new original script to FX, and his referring organization, the NAACP Hollywood Bureau, will receive a $15,000 grant to be used for its writing program.

Caise was chosen from 10 finalists, who were selected from more than 400 nominations and submissions by talent representation and arts organizations across the country.
