Zaya Wade is officially a runway model! The 15-year-old made her runway debut at the Miu Miu show at Paris Fashion Week, and Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, who were in attendance, couldn’t stop the tears from coming.
You wouldn’t know Wade was a runway newbie—she demanded the crowd’s attention as she strutted down the catwalk in an olive green dress with a matching jacket, People reported.
She carried a brown handbag and wore brown pumps to complete the look.
Everyone was cheering the teen on, but none more than her parents, who sat in the front row. The basketballer and actress donned black fits and matching sunglasses while watching Wade do her thing.
Thomas Christos Kikis, a celebrity stylist who works with the couple, sat next to them and shared a clip of the trio at the show on Instagram Stories.
As People notes, he tagged Union and Wade in the clip and wrote, “we cried.” Kikis also shared several pictures on Instagram of Wade backstage and on the runway.
“Tears in my eyes as i watched @zayawade make her debut at @miumiu today. thank you @dwyanewade for your endless trust in my vision. and thank you @zayawade for showing me what it means to believe in yourself,” he wrote.

The 41-year-old proud papa responded, commenting, “you make it easy. Thank you for centering her wants and needs always.”
He also shared the moment on his Instagram Stories.
“I’m not crying, you are,” he wrote.
Sydney Engelhart, another stylist who’s collaborated with the family, also shared a video of Wade walking in the show on Instagram, mirroring everyone’s emotional response to her big moment.
The show isn’t Wade’s first partnership with Miu Miu. She went to the brand’s fall show and wore a Gossip Girl-inspired ensemble— a plaid pleated skirt and denim vest.
