Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet are giving us major friendship goals. The pair met up at the Sunday birthday party for Zendaya’s assistant, Darnell Appling.

In videos shared online, the co-stars danced and socialized at the outdoor party. Zendaya line-danced to Beyoncé’s “Before I Let Go,” and Chalamet was filmed making his way to the middle of a dance circle.

“Timothée was dancing with the crowd and enjoying the music,” a source told ET. “He wasn’t being shy. He was having a great time.”

Zendaya wore casual blue jeans, a white halter top and sported a sleek bob. Chalamet wore green basketball shorts, a white NBA jersey and a matching baseball cap.

Zendaya and Chalamet became friends while filming Denis Villeneuve’s Dune franchise.

“Going in there, I was intimidated. I was like, I want to do my best work, you know? But this guy made it such a warm environment to work [in],” Zendaya previously told E! News. “Immediately I was like, ‘Oh, we’re going to be friends for life. Like, this is happening.’ So that was great and I had an incredible time, and I sure hope that we get to do more of it because selfishly, I just want to have fun.”

They recently wrapped filming for the sequel, which comes out on November 3.

“She’s bringing exactly what she brought to the first one—which was incredible—but in greater abundance,” Chalamet told Variety about Zenday’s performance in Dune: Part 2. “And she’s really become a sister. I’m so grateful to count her as a partner and a sister and a friend.”
