Law Roach and Zendaya are known to recreate archived supermodel looks.

On Monday, the 27-year-old had an impromptu photo shoot during Paris Fashion Week in an elevator. While laughing and playing around with one another, Roach and the Euphoria actress created a modern touch to the iconic 2004 Naomi Campbell Louis Vuitton advertisement.

In a gold silky puffy sleeve Louis Vuitton top, blue denim jeans and multicolored Louis Vuitton bag, Zendaya recreated the iconic photo from almost 20 years ago. While posing with her head back, mouth slightly open, putting the bag on full display near her face, Zendaya embodied the supermodel. According to People, the only difference between the two shots is the bottoms — jeans versus gold underwear.

“Giving a little @naomi this Monday afternoon,” Roach wrote on Instagram.

Instagram loved the iconic moment, and so did Campbell. The supermodel left four red hearts in the comment section. She also reposted it on her Instagram Stories, tagging Zendaya, Roach and Louis Vuitton.

“This just made my day,” Marc Jacobs commented on the post.

This isn’t the first time the 45-year-old has utilized his muse to honor a legendary icon. In 2020, Roach celebrated the first Black supermodel, Donyale Luna, during Zendaya’s feature on Essence magazine’s 50th anniversary cover. He paid homage to her legacy by picking similar pieces for the Dune actress to wear during her shoot. In one, she wore a matching long gown and a long-sleeved open-knit dress and donned a ’60s-inspired makeup look that included drawn-on freckles, graphic eyeliner and dramatic false cat eye eyelashes.
