One of the most captivating, gritty and addictive drama series on cable television will return with a summer premiere on Sunday, July 17. I have been patiently counting down the days until the Power season three premiere, keeping myself busy with seasons one and two, planning a Power watch party and, of course, checking 50 Cent’s Twitter account.

This is the season of consequences, which has me speculating what will take place in the upcoming episodes. As much as James St. Patrick, formerly known as ‘Ghost,’ is hell-bent on getting away from his past, I have a gut feeling it won’t be as cut and dry as he thinks. I also am excited to see how the characters will unravel this season.

I have so many questions that need answers, and here are some of them:

Are Angela and Ghost going to be reminiscing all season?

Lunch dates, visits to the museum and waking up in Miami — that was all fine and great in the first two seasons, but I’m wondering how long this infatuation stage of their affair is going to last. It’s obvious that they’re going to get serious and move in together, but I highly doubt it’s going to pan out the way they envisioned. Nightlife, romance and happily ever after? Bih, please. He’s still married and he still has shooters coming after him. Not to mention Greg’s lurking in the shadows.

Does Angela want children?

For goodness sake, I hope not. James still has a toddler. It would be another classic case of  “rich man abandons one family, starts a new one.” But I guess that would make an interesting storyline in the seasons to come. How will this effect the kids? I’m actually looking forward to them having more active roles on the show.

Is Angela going to know what it means when Ghost says, “I got something in the oven?”

Say, if he has to shoot someone and he needs her to dispose of the “evidence,” is she going to have his back? Angela is a fed, and as much as she loves Jamie, my guess is she’s willing to do whatever to make it work. I can’t wait to see how far she’s willing to go.

Does Angela quit the task force this season?

I mean, James makes enough money for the both of them. She could honestly quit her job and stay at home if she wanted to. I have a feeling that’s not her style, But I think it would be in her best interest to at least get as far away from Greg (and that investigation) as possible.

How many episodes are we going to have to watch before they realize that Miguel Sandoval, Angela’s supervisor, is working for Lobos?

Like I said, I’ve been re-watching the first two seasons so that I’m aware of what is taking place in season three. You remember when Sandoval called Lobos ‘Jefe’ at his bedside in the hospital, right? When is someone going to realize Lobos has someone working on the inside? Seriously. He’s right there.

Is Greg going to go after Ghost for Rolla’s murder?

They didn’t pursue pinning Rolla’s murder on Tommy, and I get the feeling Greg is going to make it his mission to get James St. Patrick for something. It’s just a matter of time before he pieces the murder together.

Are James and Tasha going to become co-parenting friends…eventually?

I would rather them not, but if Tasha and the kids are “going to be taken care of,” I’m guessing Tasha is going to have to accept that James is moving on. Although, I don’t think she’s going to be jumping for joy to sign divorce papers.

Are we going to see James spend time with his kids this season?

I mean, there are scenes where he mentions going to the baby’s doctor’s appointment and taking his son to play basketball, but now that he’s starting a new life, I’m interested to see how he’s going to incorporate the kids.

Where are Tasha and the kids going to live?

In the same penthouse? I would hope not. Kanan has been there. Tommy has basically lived there. And with everyone at each other’s neck, Tasha and the kids are not safe. Who’s thinking about their safety?

Who’s going to tell Tasha that Ghost didn’t kill Sean? (Because we all know that’s what she’s thinking.)

Poor Tasha. She lost two men in one season.

Are Holly and Tasha going to become friends?

Although Tommy and James are on the outs, I think Tasha and Tommy’s bond is kind of unbreakable. I get the feeling that Tasha’s comforting Holly in her time of need foreshadowed an unlikely friendship. But I could be reaching.

How many times is Tommy going to have to get his car detailed?

I anticipate this season is going to be gut-wrenching, violent and bloody. Which makes me wonder how many times Tommy will need to take his car to the wash.

What’s going to happen to Julio?

Ok, so what if he’s not a main character! Have you seen him? That’s my bae.

Are Tommy and Kanan going to makeup?

I wouldn’t be surprised. Although Kanan probably thinks Tommy set him up, I also think there’s room for forgiveness if Kanan wants a shot at being a part of the organization and a direct connect to Lobos. He needs Tommy. My guess is he’s going to play it smart and try to get back in with him.

Is Dre going to start wearing suits?

Of course he is. Can’t wait to see how he’ll evolve from corner kid to James’ right-hand man this season.

So, Proctor is Ghost’s new advisor?

He’s definitely going to need one.

Is Kanan going to come after Tasha?

If you can recall the episode when Kanan popped up at Ghost’s house unannounced, you’ll also remember when he commented on how good Tasha looked now that she had “filled out in all the right places.” Fast-forward to that awkward moment Kanan comes over, again unannounced, bearing gifts for the kids and Tasha because he heard Tasha and Ghost were in a “rough spot.” After he said he used to think about Tasha while he was locked up, I was convinced Tasha was in danger.

Lucky she knows how to hold herself down.

Who’s going to die this season?

We were really in our feelings last season with the tragic loss of Shawn. I don’t know if I’ll recover.

But still find myself oddly excited about learning which beloved character is going to die this upcoming season. My guess? Holly.

One thing is for sure: I can’t wait for the summer premiere. I know it’s going to be good.

Shout out to executive producer, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Power series showrunner, Courtney Kemp, Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Ogurotimi “Rotimi” Akinosho, and the rest of this phenomenal cast.
