Jordan Middlebrooks was last seen celebrating at a Thanksgiving party, but now friends and family are searching for him after he reportedly vanished. According to ABC News, the 21-year-old active Army National Guardsman was having fun at Cincinnati bar Mixwell's, then went to his friend's College Hill apartment to crash. He was detected by security cameras leaving the apartment on Friday morning, but it has not been confirmed where he was going.

"We're hoping for the best," Naj Jabari, Middlebrooks' friend, told WCPO. "My hope is that we find him safe and sound, no matter where he is. … I know everyone's just wanting to give him a big ol' hug."

Jabari was among the 30-plus search party members who thoroughly searched the city, alerting residents with missing person posters.

As Cincinnati.com reports, Middlebrooks' mother spent 10 hours searching for her son over the weekend, including heading to Taco Bell where his car was parked, before he went to the bar.

This matter is currently under investigation with the Columbus Police Department.

"He's the sweetest soul. He’s the sweetest guy. He's always around, bringing a smile to everyone around him," noted Jabari. "I just want to say 'hi' to Jordan again and see that smile of his."
