Dallas Cowboys fans and haters may not agree on much, but they can both agree that finding spirituality is a beautiful thing.

Earlier this month, video of linebackers Anthony Hitchens and Justin March-Lillard and safety Kavon Frazier being baptized began to go viral. But it wasn't until this past Christmas weekend when the video began to really pick up steam.

The video showed a spiritual brotherhood being formed in front of 15 other players and the team's chaplain, Pastor Jonathan Evans, who baptize them.

“We spend a lot of our time here [at the practice facilities],” March-Lillard told The Undefeated. “You’re more with the guys here than you are with your own family, so it’s like a family environment.

“We have our team chaplain, who kind of helped change our lives, and we wanted him to be able to have that honor, so we’re honored to have him to be the one who baptized us. This is kind of faith and football for us — it’s a lifestyle — so it all goes together.”

March-Lillard had to overcome great personal tragedies in his life that made him want to become closer to God. He lost his father and younger brother within the last 13 months.

On the other hand, Frazier has always been a Christian but he wanted to renew his faith. He hopes that the viral video inspires others to embrace spirituality and be proud to believe in a higher power.

“For me, I got baptized at a young age, and I was always a believer, but I never really had a real relationship with God until now,” Frazier said. “So that’s why I just wanted to redo that, because now I actually have a relationship with him and I see what he’s doing in my life and I actually truly have faith."

The video has garnered over 5.6 million views, 6,000 comments and 76,000 shares. If the Cowboys season turns out to be a complete bust, this moment will always be a highlight.
