Kanye West sat down with Vogue a few hours before his Yeezy Season 4 event was to take place at a secret location on Roosevelt Island (shh, it was the old smallpox hospital).
The piece began with, “I’m really not here for controversy,” but this is Kanye West. “Controversy” shows up in Calabasas for dinner unannounced. They’re cool like that.
What wasn’t cool was anything he had those models dealing with in that New York City heat. It reached the low 90s on Wednesday afternoon. You could tell because those pristine, “multiracial” women started wilting in the sun. I mean, technically, multiracial could mean you only want black women who are mixed with another race (which is pretty problematic), or it could mean you want black women with multiple…skin tones?
In his Vogue interview, ‘Ye said he meant the latter. “How do you word the idea that you want all variations of black? How do you word that exactly?” he asked. Well, I don’t know Kanye, but maybe you should call me next time before using words you don’t mean?
Regardless of whatever he meant to say, several variations of black fell faint of heat exhaustion. Several more, after standing in heels, in place, for hours, could barely walk when it came time to bust a move.
Kanye, what?

At least the celebs looked hydrated.

More end of the world wear? Yup.

She’s was a real one

Teyana (and her perfect body) were unbothered.

It looked beautiful, though.

Also, Desiigner and Iman Shumpert aren’t actually the same person. Goodbye to your conspiracy theories.
