2. He Hasn't Been Sick for 30 Years

Maintaining a busy life as an actor can put a lot of stress on your body. But in an interview with Luenell for VladTV, Nunez explains that, aside from a couple of bouts with COVID-19, he hasn’t been sick in more than three decades!

“I have not had a cold — I have not been sick at all,” he reveals. “I’ve been sick twice in 30 years, and that was both with Corona.”

But even more shocking is what he attributes to his health: kerosene.

“You take a teaspoon of kerosene. You’re going to booboo more than you’ve ever boobooed. You’re going to throw up at the same time. That’s because in your body that’s not supposed to be there will get the hell out.”

3. He Was Destined to Become a Star

In an interview for VladTV, Nunez revealed that he knew that he wanted to be a Hollywood actor from a young age — 3 years old, to be exact.

“My mom said the first time she spanked me, she said I told her ‘When I become a movie star, I’m not going to buy you nothing.'”

But that’s not all. He also recalled the first time his uncle, a car dealer, brought a Cadillac with California license plates home.

“I always believed that the power of life and death is in the tongue,” he explained, adding that he is “a product of that principle.”

He revealed that even though he was too young to understand its meaning, he lived its reality every day.

“Every single day of my life, I told anybody who would listen [that I would become a Hollywood actor.]”

And despite the naysayers, he did just that. Nunez would go on to act in small roles on television and film until he landed his big break. Today, Nunez has a wildly impressive acting portfolio, with no plans of stopping.

5. He Moved to Hollywood with $3 to His Name

For a majority of aspiring actors, making it in Hollywood is incredibly competitive. Still, many make the trip to La La Land in hopes of becoming a star.

Nunez is no exception, and he revealed as much in his interview with The Humor Mill. He said that he quit his job abruptly after realizing he was unhappy. And in another spur of the moment decision, he packed his bags and purchased bus fare for a trip to California with only $3 to his name.

Still, life was far from smooth sailing for Nunez. He worked multiple jobs in an effort to not only make ends meet, but become noticed in the industry. Fortunately, after much trial and error, he earned a leading role in a commercial for a restaurant. And the rest was history.
