It’s been six years since we’ve been graced with new music and stunning visuals from our beloved Queen Bey, but Beyoncé is finally here! As we collectively get acquainted with Renaissance, let’s take a walk down memory lane by revisiting some of our favorite Beyoncé music videos from the songstress’ past. Check them out below.

1. "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)"

An iconic hit! The I Am… Sasha Fierce album was one for the books. The album was actually released as a double album to showcase both of Bey’s artistic sides. This video, in particular, featured Beyoncé, in Black and White, alongside two dancers giving us some of the most iconic choreography we’ve seen.

2. "Freakum Dress"

When was the last time you saw your freakum dress? This video, from the B-Day album, saw our good sister trying on an abundance of lovely dresses in one of the most creative videos to date. It also inspired us to get our very own freakum dress to wear when we’re feeling ourselves.

3. "Formation"

Raise your hands if you’re still in formation six years later! Don’t worry: we are, too. How could you not love a music video that tells so many stories within one? What was most powerful about this video was the galvanizing message that evoked such excitement upon hearing “get in formation.” We also loved the fashion, as it was top tier.

4. "Sorry"

This music video from Lemonade, maybe the sole reason many of us were screaming, “I ain’t sorry!” for about a year straight. Shot in black and white while featuring the fabulous Serena Williams, our edges were completely snatched upon watching it for the first time. We got looks, cameos, lyrics, vocals and everything else. It was and still is giving what it’s supposed to.

5. "Hold Up"

You had to be there for the Lemonade era! When our fearless queen released Lemonade in 2016, she gave us a visual masterpiece that was and still is unparalleled. This music video featured outstanding cinematography that captured her true genius.

6. "Drunk in Love" ft. Jay-Z

If you didn’t feel the urge to go to the beach with your boo with a few glasses of wine upon watching this, are you really a part of the Beyhive? When Bey released her self-titled album in 2013, the world stopped. It was a surprise release and featured an ensemble of beautifully captured visuals, including this one.

7. "Run the World (Girls)"

There’s no doubt about it that women do run the world. So, we loved seeing Beyoncé usher in her 4 album with this iconic song that features fierce choreography and aesthetics.

8. "Crazy in Love" ft. Jay-Z

This music video will always go down in history as iconic for several reasons. First, the simple white tank top, denim shorts, red heels combination, and the beautiful marriage of sounds between the two most prominent artists worldwide are monumental. It should also be noted that this was a part of her first album Dangerously in Love.

This list was super hard to create, given that Beyoncé is a true artist who never misses any of her music videos. If we could’ve put them all, we certainly would have. Now excuse us as we continue to vibe to Renaissance.
