It goes without saying that The Oprah Winfrey Show was a staple in the Black household. From the iconic interviews to the fashion statements and even the celebrity appearances, the show easily brought family members together.

Here are some of the memorable guests who appeared on the show.

In 1992, TLC appeared on an episode of the show. The late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez was pictured holding the mic as the group was captured wearing their staple oversized ensembles. 

A young and excited Al B. Sure! appeared as a guest on the show as he smiled sitting on a stool. 

Actress Robin Givens came on the show to promote her movie A Rage in Harlem

Of course, Eddie Murphy popped up on the set of the show which was based in Chicago. 

Magic Johnson also came on the show with his wife Cookie in 1992—almost one year after he announced he was HIV positive, according to History.

 

Kriss Kross, known for wearing oversized clothes backward, posed for a picture backstage.

Kadeem Hardison, known for his role as Dwayne Wayne on A Different World, stopped by the show, too. 

MC Hammer wore his infamous hammer pants while performing on the show. 

And Beyoncé even performed on the third to last show in 2011. 

The show wrapped up production in 2011 after pulling in millions of viewers each week across the world, according to History.
