It only took 10 days for an account purportedly run by a chicken named Henrietta to outpace Kylie Jenner in Instagram likes.

Egg Gang's account @world_record_egg was created on January 4 and currently boasts 3.1 million followers. According to BuzzFeed, the individual behind the account is an English chicken named "Henrietta."

Along with posting a photo of the egg, the user also included the message, "Let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)!"

When asked about her inspiration for creating the profile, Henrietta said she was observing "dry January," which is 31 days of abstaining from alcohol. The chicken was reading an article about the most liked post on the popular social media site and noticed that the cosmetics CEO topped the list with 18 million likes.

Jenner, who has 123 million followers, reached the milestone of the most liked photo in February 2018 when she introduced the world to her newborn baby girl Stormi Webster.

"I saw this as a challenge to beat it," Henrietta wrote in an email to BuzzFeed. "It was nothing personal."

By Monday morning, the egg had ousted Jenner from the top spot by well over 10 million likes, registering nearly 29 million (and counting) double-taps.

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family seemed to take the news in stride and playfully responded to the egg with an Instagram post of her own.

After testing the asphalt in the hot California weather, Jenner cracked an egg directly on the pavement, captioning her post, "Take that little egg."
