An Ohio news team tried to appeal to its younger viewers, and the secondhand embarrassment is too real.

The students of Toledo Public Schools are undergoing standardized testing this week, so the WTOL staff decided to give them a shoutout full of slang, reports BuzzFeed News.

The results were…interesting.

"Good morning, TPS students, it is testing week, and it's time to slay all day," said anchor Melissa Andrews.

"Yeet!" shouted Tim Miller. "Stay woke, be on fleek, get that Gucci breakfast."

It went downhill from there.

Andrews inexplicably yelled "goals" and suggested students say “bye Felicia” to stress before weatherman Chris Vickers started his segment with a hearty “yaaaassssss.”

Instead of saying it would be sunny like a regular weather broadcaster, this guy said the weather “is gonna be v lit during testing week."

Then he gave a sorry a*s Cardi B impression to ask traffic reporter Steve Jackson if traffic was, wait for it, “OKURRRT.”

As the lone Black person involved, Jackson should have put a stop to this embarrassing display. Sadly, that didn’t happen.

"Better than OKURRRR," Jackson said. "We're talking turnt."

Folks rightfully clowned WTOL for these shenanigans.

They got the message because the video was wiped from the network's Facebook page, and it never aired on television, according to Insider. Sadly, nothing is truly deleted from Al Gore’s internet.

To their credit, no one dabbed.
